On 21st February, 1915, the 2nd Cornwall Light Infantry battalion of 82 Brigade, 27th Division moved into trenches near Dickebusch just to the south of Ypres where they remained until two days later. Peter Knight was killed on 23rd February when, according to the battalion diary, the enemy shelled some of their trenches. |
